At the beginning of 2020, all projections pointed out that it would be a year of great growth for the machinery and equipment market. However, the unexpected happened. The emergence and rapid spread of the coronavirus stopped the world and left the future in check.

In the business world, industries have slowed down their investments in automation, and large manufacturers have been forced to revise their launch schedules. The packaging chain, where are part of, suffered several impacts.

Trade Shows and events were canceled, visits to customers were replaced by video calls, and the news awaited the arrival of the second half of the year, which surprised positively. The return of consumption revived the market, and the projection of a slow recovery was replaced by a new, more confident outlook.

By preparing the Indumak 2020 Flashback, we were able to assess that the difficulty became an opportunity for many brands that were looking for new possibilities in the face of the impacts caused in the first half. The industry then started to shake up the market, achieving good numbers for the machinery and equipment sector.

Indumak launches in 2020

 

In 2019, we made a high investment in bagging technology, which was successful received. The success of this new line of Indumak machines has been positive, and the Indumak family of solutions has grown. During the year, 5 more bagging models were launched, indicated for several products, including for the agribusiness segment.

 

 

The Bag Applicator Robot was developed to give even more speed to the bagging process by moving the bags to the bagger nozzle with precision and agility. The equipment is suitable for valve bags of various sizes and different types of bags, such as paper, plastic and raffia. If necessary, it can be customized with claws and adjusted according to the needs of each industry.

 

 

The development of a new highly accurate product filler was highlighted in the packaging line. With the reduction of raw material costs, the reduction of waste and the guarantee of the quality of the final product, the FG-4 brought to 2020 advanced dosing solutions.

 

 

The Automatic Packaging Machine DG 320 arrived to bring even more efficiency to the production line. The equipment guarantees excellent performance at a lower cost for larger packages, up to 5kgs, with package width up to 320mm. There are several possibilities of application according to the needs of each product. The new wrapper has a belt packing traction system and has a speed capacity of up to 70 cycles per minute.

 

 

In the baling line, two great news: the vertical package positioner and the launch of the new MK-30. The vertical package positioner allows vertical positioning of packages with up to 6 columns. The bale plastic reel may have a photocell print and marking, since the columns are ordered in a precise manner. Initially, a fork accumulates each of the layers, then the bags are released to the bale by the forming tube, which has the divisions of each desired column. The advantage of this application is that the bale will not change in size, keeping tight with well-organized columns.

 

 

The MK-30, on the other hand, gained a new design, new colors and a new layout. The new generation of the equipment received a rounded finish, with less acrylics on the corners, offering more resistance in addition to improvements in the interface. It has a modern design that reflects the quality of the final product.

The PG-25 VFFS, indicated for the dosis and packaging of large volumes, was reformulated to present an even more efficient structure for the pet food and similar market. One of the innovations is the Doser DB-100, which works with increased volumetric flow to achieve greater filling speed.

 

 

These news warmed up and brought more strength to Indumak in 2020, and we will not stop there. With each turn of the year, expectations for more innovation only increase.
