The importance of conveyors in the automatic packaging process

Packing your products efficiently is one of the most important parts of any business. To keep the packaging system functioning correctly and at the right speed, it is necessary to ensure that each subsystem and component is always in excellent working condition. This also means you need to have the right components for your product and the necessary packaging system.

In some cases, you will need a specific type of elevator or conveyor to feed the automatic vertical filler.

What is a conveyor?

A conveyor is a machine used to transport the product to the packaging area. Products are transported to the machine’s feeder and can come in different models and characteristics, catering to the segment according to production capacity.

They are available in various models:

Vertical conveyor – Z-belt for solid products

In a Z-type format, this conveyor is used for transporting solid products, with a production capacity of 5m³ per hour. It is made of stainless steel 304, with high corrosion resistance. The elevation height is 3.25 m, and the length of the extension arm is 2.90 m. Other sizes are also available, depending on the equipment to be fed.

Inclined conveyor

The inclined spondaflex or modular feeder conveyor is suitable for transporting solid products. It can be fed by a hopper with a vibrating trough, if necessary, and has a bucket with a capacity of 4.5 l. Its dimensions are determined by the layout to be designed for each application.

Screw conveyor

This model of conveyor features a continuous screw for transporting powdered products. It is equipped with an electric motor for screw movement and vibration from the silo to aid in product flow. Made of stainless steel, it has an acrylic door for loading and protection during operation.
